Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay

Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay was a Bengali novelist and poet best known for Anandamath and its song Vande Mataram. He is regarded as the pioneer of modern Bengali fiction and a source of inspiration for India’s freedom movement.
